The capsule contains an easy-to-use digital speedometer that records the speed of your rocket during flight.

Using Estes B and C engines, the electronic speedometer is boosted 600 feet (183 m) straight up with the on board electronic system recording the flight data. The rocket floats down to Earth using a colorful 12 inch (30 cm) parachute, while the electronic capsule returns gently using a bright neon streamer. After it lands, check the capsule display screen to see the speed of the flight. Did you guess it correctly? Launch this silver speed demon over and over for hours of fun.

The Estes Speed Freak Starter Set comes complete with a ready to fly Speed Freak Rocket, two engines, igniters, engine plugs, recovery wadding, a launch pad and launch controller. You are ready to fly in minutes! Requires four AA alkaline batteries (for your launch controller) - sold separately. Recommended for ages 10 and up with adult supervision for those under 12.
